11 months!

Oh my goodness can he get any cuter?! He is such a little sweetie that loves his big brothers. He is always following them and trying to keep up. He has had about 4 hair cuts already. Out of all the boys he is the only one who loves to get into the bathroom and play in the toilet any chance he gets--yuck! And if mom and dad's door is open it is a straight bee-line into our bathroom to get one of our electric toothbrushes. He is sleeping so much better-woo hoo! He babbles mama and dada and loves to eat to tomatoes. He has 8 teeth. He loves to get in the drawers in the kitchen and the entertainment center so scotch tape has become my best friend on the drawers we can't put baby locks on :) I am trying to really take in the snuggles when I get them because my baby isn't so much of a baby anymore-I can't believe he will be 1 next month! We love you little Mr.!

10 months!

We have a walker--he started at about 9 1/2 months and hasn't stopped since! We finally kicked thrush with a few more purple mouth treatments. Your favorite defense mode is still biting and pinching. Keegan is usually your main target. You love your mimi-just like your big brothers did.  We love you Grady!

9 months

Here's what you're up to this month:
  • you still sleep on your tummy with your little bunners in the air stink bug style
  • when I am snuggling you to sleep you love to run your hand over my face or pinch my neck
  • you are such a little chomper! Last weekend at Grandma D's house Keegan started screaming because you sneak attacked him and bit him on his back you naughty boy! We're all learning to keep our toes covered too because those are one of your favorite targets.
  • We are still trying to get rid of that darn thrush---boo! On top of that you got an ear infection and are still getting teeth. So this month has been a little rough for you!
  • You love your brothers and they love you! It's pretty cute to watch you all wrestle together.
  • You are an eating machine-pretty much anything goes now.
  • You are a horrible sleeper little man and mommy does not love it. Well I can't really say that because I know that I can count on 3 really good snuggles every night :)
  • At your checkup you weighed 20 lbs 13 oz and I can't find the paper that says your height-you probably ate it!
  • We moved you up to a big boy car seat-you looked like a giant baby in your infant one with your feet sticking out the end!
  • You are a crawling master and are now standing up all by yourself--walking won't be too far behind....
  • When people say hi to you to duck your little head into my neck with a huge smile-cutest thing ever! You warm up pretty fast though and are still so easy to make smile. You brighten everyone's day that you meet!
We are so glad that you chose us Grady! You bring so much laughter and love to our family and we love you to the moon and back!

wrapping up July

We went and visited Grandma at work and then went exploring and found a blue fountain!

Best yard sale sign I have ever seen and my huge wasp sting!

We tagged along with daddy to a mutual activity at Dierkes and had the best time. It is so fun to be able to take the boys to places that I grew up going to!

Our garden is doing so awesome this year and the raspberries even producing even though we just transplanted them this year!

We had a big party for Grandpa Haney's 94th birthday and got to see lots of family. What a great man with an amazing posterity!

This group of people! How did we get so lucky to live so close to one another?? I wouldn't trade them for anything! Ter was and still is close to his cousins and I really hope that we can say the same for our family in the years to come.

Camping in Heglar

We are getting the hang of this camping thing with kids and loving it more and more. Heglar is such a beautiful place to go! Marianne and Casey and Kendal and Pete came along with us and the kids had a ball sliding down the hillside in the dirt and exploring.

A lady on Ter's mission gave him that big Virgin Mary blanket and it is super warm so it has turned into our camping blanket. It makes me laugh every time I spread it out and put our sleeping bags on top!
After camping Friday night we headed to Grandma D's house to get all cleaned up to go over to Todd and Laurie's house for McKay's reception. It was fun to catch up with people and chase these little handsome boys all around.
haha they were all done with pictures in the bottom right one!

life lately-{july}

Mommy got an iphone!!! Which means way more pictures of my little crazies!
This little mr. is so happy!

We were visiting Grandma Kris at work and Keegan found an egg that had fallen out of a nest and he smashed it-yuck! We then got to talk all about maggots and rotten eggs. He couldn't get enough of watching the maggots and Bryker was about to barf!
Bryker took swimming lessons in Filer this year and had the best teacher, McKenzie Hunsaker that really helped him to feel more comfortable. I think we will be spending a lot of time at the pool this year. Our first carrots from our garden!
The picture of Keegan in his Captain America costume is one of my most favorite!

Grady bug is 6 months old!

You just keep getting cuter and cuter--I can't handle it! Your hair is staying strawberry blonde-ish but we'll see for how long. You went on your first camping trip this month and did great! You are still as smiley as ever, are loving your big boy food and are crawling!!! I think you are working on your first 2 teeth which equals a sad baby and a tired mama. We have been swimming a ton this summer and you love to get in a splash around. At your appointment this month you weighed 18 lbs 9 oz and were 27.5 inches tall--healthy as can be! We love you sweet boy!

Happy 4th of July!

For the 4th we headed to Buhl for the parade with the Parkers, Eskelsens and Bangerters and that turned into us making plans to meet my mom and dad down at Dierkes and try out the paddle boards with everyone. We have such a great group of friends and my parents are so amazing--we had a blast! Then we went back to the Parkers and had some pizza for dinner and then we all headed into town to watch the fireworks at CSI. I can't say it enough we are so blessed to have the close friends that we do!
the only pictures I got-boo! I was a hot hot hot day!

Camping with the Vinson's

Friday we headed to Bear Gulch with the Joel and Tesha and their kiddos and had a great time. It was only for one night but we had fun eating yummy food, talking by the fire and checking out the hummingbird tree! I didn't do very good at taking pictures at all :( We got home and got all unpacked and decided we needed a little more outside time and headed to the Filer ponds for some fishing.
our little chubby red head, worn out from our fun weekend
One of my most favorite pictures of my boys!

life-lately {JUNE}

These boys are the cutest little people I have ever seen! Let the summer fun begin!

When I ask Keegan to take a picture pulling his shirt down is his go to move. The swimming bug has hit! We got a pass to the Filer City pool and can't wait to make the most of it. That is Bryke snuggling Grady during tummy time.
Grady tried solids for the first time and wasn't so sure about it but changed his mind pretty fast to loving it!
This coat! I thought I had a picture of all the boys in it but I can only find one of Bryke. I wanted to do a comparison of all 3 of them to see how alike they look so I'll have to keep searching.

We love you so much!

Daddy is 30!

Happy birthday handsome! I would have been in big trouble if I did a surprise party so I did a surprise present instead--a new shotgun! My dad and Ryan helped me choose the perfect one and surprise him. He thought it was a bb gun at first and was a little confused but once he realized what it was I think he was pretty excited. I might have been a little more excited than him--to be able to give him a really nice gift and surprise him was so much fun. When we were pulling up to the park to the party we saw my dad with the gun and Ter asked did you get me a gun and I lied on an honest {!} and said no, I couldn't ruin the surprise! I think he forgave me though once he saw it :) We have so many great friends (Bangerters, Eskelsens and the Parkers) and family that came to the park to celebrate with us-we love you all!

To Box Canyon we go!

Last weekend we set out on an adventure to find Box Canyon and go see the waterfall--and an adventure is what we got! We had a tough time finding the parking lot but we made it and after we got all geared up (my favorite is the giant first aid kit hanging from the carrier) we set off walking to find the trail that drops down in the canyon. We walked and walked and walked....and missed the trail! We ended up walking probably 1 1/2 extra (that's not that far but when your both carrying a little cutie and Bryke is walking all by himself it felt like forever!) so we backtracked and found the trail and headed down in! Bryker was such a little trooper and did a great job! Grady slept the whole time and Keegan needed a lift from Daddy :) The waterfall and water were so pretty and we had a great time exploring. I love our time out in the wild {as Bryke calls it} as a family! We treated ourselves to the Creamery in Buhl after our fun afternoon-yum!
such a good day!

I am trying to play catch up so here are pictures from May!

Grady and Daddy taking a nap together is about the cutest thing ever!
Love him!

We had so much fun this day playing in the rain and finding giant worms.

These were Grandma Kris and Grandma D's mother's day presents--cutie boys!

Grady is 4 months old!

Grady baby you are such a sweetheart! You have been a dream baby while I have been in school and I couldn't be more grateful! You are so quick to smile and bring a smile to everyone's face that you meet! At your 4 month check up you were 26.6 inches {93rd percentile}, 16 lb 12 oz {76th percentile}. This month you rolled over for the first time!

We love you sweet boy!

life lately--April

These little boys have my heart. Being a mama is tough! I'm writing this post way after these pictures were taken on a day when I had a big mommy mess up--I said shut up. I feel so so awful and ashamed that I said that to my sweet babies. I was so frazzled after a trip to town and running late to try and get dinner to the missionaries and my little people were pushing every button that they knew of {excuses}. I don't think they really understood what I said, those words never get said in our home. But I knew what I said so with tears I stopped the car and told them that I was sorry and that we needed to say a prayer. They asked why and I told them because mommy needed to say sorry to Heavenly Father and ask for help. We prayed for momma to have patience and little boys to be better listeners and that we could be kind to each other. It was short and sweet but exactly what needed to be done. I hope I turned a bad mommy mistake into a teaching moment for my boys. I want them to love the Lord and know that He is real and always there for us. I know these things are true with all my heart. I also know that I couldn't do this amazing and amazingly hard calling of motherhood without the love, guidance, comfort, forgiveness and understanding of my Savior. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have of the gospel and the atonement. Where would we be without it? The fact that I can pray not only for forgiveness but for my Savior to take away my feelings of shame, hurt, sorrow and everything else can be eased  and replaced with love and comfort, what a blessing! I know my Savior loves me. I wish I would have never said those words to my littles and I made a promise to myself to try my very hardest to {never} do it again but through that experience I felt my Savior's love for me and saw the tender mercy of sweet boys who easily forgive and offer a smile and kiss for their mama.

5 Inspirational Quotes for Mother's Day
I am not going to give up. Tomorrow I am going to try harder and I am going to be a better mama than I was today. I love you my sweet little boys. Being your mom is my greatest joy!
