**WISH LIST**

Somewhere on Craigslist there is a beautiful rocking chair like this one that is calling my name!

Lots of Super cute options on crib sets-these are the top runners IF I had a million dollars :)
Maybe I'll get crafty lafty and try to copy one!

LOVE this bedspread

Tiny pic but its from Pac Sun and I'm saving my pennies so I can buy it one day :)

Can't you just see these boots with skinny jeans (it's laughable to even mention those jeans since I won't be able to fit in mine without using a hair tie to make the waist band bigger!) and one of these three gorgeous tops on my list?? They're from Anthropology and only cost the tiny amount of $250! :)

Just love the ruffle

Things are Starting to Change!

My first thought on this is THank Goodness!!! The whole first trimester was kind of rough but now (I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow:) ) things are starting to look up. For awhile there it was grillled cheese everyday and becoming best friends with the toilet. I know other ladies have it so much worse than I did but boy am I glad to be coming into trimester #2!

No major changes in the baby bump area I think I'm at the stage that just makes people wonder did she eat way to much for lunch or is there a little more going on in there?? Smells aren't making me as sick anymore so I can finally make dinner and be a wife now! (Terry has been Amazing about making dinner every night!)

Speaking of my sweetie-he started graduate school on Tuesday!! That is our major change right now. He's got a pretty heavy load but so far I think he's likin it he just has to get back into the swing of school. And I am home alone now!! I've been looking for a job and no luck so far but hopefully that'll change soon. I went onto campus for a job fair and I think it's safe to say that Rexburg put me in a little bubble. I'm glad Terry is the one going to a new school and not me!

The big question on our minds is what is this little cutie going to be?! Just pretend they're in two different pods because there is definitely only 1 in this pod!! Lots of people seem to think its a boy. No mommy instincts from me yet but only 5 more weeks we'll know!!
Sorry for a kind of boring post but this is us lately and I've promised myself that I'm going to try and do a better job journaling the pregnancy. Hope your day is great!

First comes love then comes marriage then comes the baby in the baby carriage!!

If you haven’t heard we’re having a baby!! I’m due February 17th so I’m right around 12 weeks. Here’s our story: So we thought we were pregnant so we took a few tests but they were both negative. I was little bummed out but life kept going. Then about a week later I was talking to a friend and she asked me if I had any news and I told her no but I’d kind of been hanging on to the idea that I might still be pregnant. Well, as a friend put it today she reminded me that I might be pregnant so on the way home I stopped at the dollar store and got 4 tests. I came home and said hey look what I got and Ter kinda just looked at me with a what are those for look :) I went and took one and holy smokes I was surprised to see two lines!! I called Terry back into the bathroom and we took another one to make sure but the dollar store ones just weren’t cuttin it for us so we went to Wal-Mart and got a “better” one. Well that one was pretty faint so we still weren’t convinced. I had a meeting to go to but said I would get another one afterwards. I went to Broulims and there you have to have a manager open a case for you, crazy I know!, well I went to get the manager and it was our Home Teacher! I was freaking out! I hurried and snuck out and went to yet another store! Walgreens worked and I went home for a fourth try. So four POSITIVE tests later I think we were pretty convinced and shocked. We couldn’t be happier!
About three days after we found out I got SUPER sick and pretty much thought I was done for and that we were definitely only going to have one kid if this is what morning sickness was. After a 4 am trip to the ER we found out it was the flu and two bags of IV and Zofran did the trick. Thank heavens things have calmed down since then! I still get pretty sick on some days and my nose could compete with any pooch!
We found a super good deal on a crib and are loving buying baby stuff. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a parent and especially to share it with my wonderful husband. We can’t wait!! Our little bugaboo at about 8 weeksPuttin the the STEAL of a DEAL crib together and the finished product. Ya I know were only about 6 or 7 months early but we just couldn't wait :)

CALI Baby! (Caution detail and picture over-load)

After graduation and the move we settled in for a whole two days and then packed right back up and started our California get away. Our parents were SO very nice and let us borrow their trusty car so we wouldn’t get stranded or die of heat in one of ours. We picked it up on Monday along with Liz, the best GPS lady voice ever, stayed the night and set off on Tuesday morning. We made it to Vegas and got the best start to our vacation ever….the Excalibur upgraded our $35 room to a SUITE!! We couldn’t believe it! We were on the top floor with a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub! There was valet parking and they brought our bags up to our room I felt like we were livin’ pretty good! We stuffed ourselves at the buffet and then set off for the Strip. That road is a lot longer than it looks when your walkin! Don’t judge us too much but I gambled for the first time…and I am a pro! I put in my first dollar and won $15!! We must have looked pretty silly cause I thought buzzers would start going off and coins would start falling our of the machine-still pretty exciting thought! Ter didn’t have much luck :( And the heat holy smokes it was nuts! All in all it was the perfect starter to our trip. $15. 75 woo hoo!!!Our pretty hotel-ExcaliburThe water show at the Bellagio-well worth the waitOur SUPER tired feet ready to hop into the Jacuzzi tubModeling our spiffy robes and fluffy slippers courtesy of our upgrade!M & M factory was awesome-I've never seen so many M & M's in my life!
Wednesday we woke up and headed for San Diego. We made it there with the help of Liz and headed for the beach. We ended up on what we dubbed the “ghetto beach” it was dirty and had some interesting people but our beaches later totally made up for it. Afterwards we ate at Red Lobster here’s a shout out for their Lobster Spinach Artichoke dip-try it you’ll love it!

Thursday was Zoo day we woke up early and started out. Let me first just say that that place is Ginormous!!! We thought we’d stay for maybe 3-4 hours but ended up staying 6-7! We got to see everything we wanted and even got lost in the monkey trail part-not so great part of the day! After the Zoo we went out to Coronado-such a beautiful place!! The bridge to get there is crazy and the beaches there are amazing! We ate at a cute little BBQ place and then enjoyed the beach for the rest of the night. It was so fun to be out on that little island. It was so nice to just be able to enjoy our time together and not have to worry about school or work. I felt like the luckiest girl ever strolling the beach with my hubby-thanks for such a great week sweetie!
Our two favorites- I love hippos!Coronado beach-beautiful!
Friday was time for Sea World! Started out early again and began our day with a bang with the Shamu show. All the shows were great but there’s just something about Free Willy that’s the best! We saw dolphins, otters, pet stringrays, saw these crazy sea lions that acted just like dog and went on a shark escalator. We went to the artic and saw polar bears and "baby beluga from the deep blue sea"...(anyone?) Sea World was a blast!
We were able to stop by the San Diego temple but found out it was closed for remodeling or cleaning. At least one side wasn't completely covered! This temple is absolutely gorgeous! The whole week had been cloudy and a little over cast all week so that was a bit of a bummer but I don’t think we would have been able to handle the heat! On our way home on Saturday we stopped at the outlets in Barstow and stepped out the car and thought we were going to melt! I’m so thankful I live in Idaho!
Saturday (Happy 1 year Anniversary to us!!) we stayed in Ely, Nevada to break up our trip. The whole week was an anniversary/graduation celebration-I want a week to celebrate it every year!! This year has been the best of my life. Thanks for loving me sweetie and letting me be me. I couldn’t ask for a better best friend or husband. I’ll love you always and forever!
Finally we made it back to Twin changed cars and showed off all our treasures and finally made it back to Pokey-Home Sweet Home!

Catch Up #2

Graduation!!!
We both graduated from BYU-Idaho!! Both of our parents and Terry’s sister Nicole and her husband Jordan came up for graduation and killed two birds with one stone by helping us move too. Our family is amazing I swear I turned my back for a second and my house was empty! Thanks everyone for coming and sharing our special day with us and helping us out so much! Like most other schools BYU-I just gives you a diploma holder and then mails you your diploma later. But BYU-I doesn’t really do their degree audit process until after the ceremony and everything so it’s just a waiting game to see if you get an email that confirms your degree or lets you know of any deficiencies. I’m happy to say that we both got good emails and are OFFICIALLY graduated!! Maybe forever for me but my sweetie only has 3 weeks until he starts grad school :(
The BIG Move
With graduation came our not so big move to Pocatello. It felt big with all of our stuff but really is only a hop away from Rexburg. But the difference couldn’t be bigger! I think it might be a little of culture shock for me and Rexburg has sheltered us for too long! I can’t stop my jaw from dropping or my head from turning when I see some people ha! It’s back to the real world for us! We moved into a really nice apartment that I have lovingly nicknamed the Jungle. Our carpet is green, the linoleum is green, the stove is green and the bathroom counter and floor are green. But it’s a great place and it’s the people that make the home not the place! Bye-Bye Andrews Place Hello Eastridge Dr!
Welcome to the Jungle :)

Way Overdue Catch Up Time

Washington Bound
A few months ago we got to hop in the car with my parents and Carson and head to Walla Walla Washington to see my little sister Jill graduate. I am so proud of this beautiful little lady who is so independent and full of fire! Next step for her is Dental Hygiene school at CSI-so glad she will be closer to home!

Just a cute picture of Cars-love this little guy! The amazing house J stayed in for her last little bit in Walla Walla-lucky girl!

The Heward house
Our friends Adam and Tori have the cutest house in Rigby that is the perfect place for everyone to get together. This is a picture of me, Kash and Tori. These girls are great! I know I’ve said it before but I am so thankful that Terry has a great group of friends and that of the wives get along so well!

Family Camping trip to Soda
We got to have a little mini-reunion with Terry’s parents and siblings at a cabin in Soda and played at Lava and had so much fun! Thanks for such a great weekend Mom and Dad Darrington!

This is pretty close to perfect for me!

Annual Fourth of July in Raft River
We made the trip down for the 4th of July party and loved every minute of it! I love this tradition and the people we get to see every year-can’t wait for next year!
Macey's Blessing
We got to go home for Macey's blessing and I'm so glad we did! Zach gave her an amazing blessing. This picture is when they were trying to do a quick family pic after the blessing. Carson is the funniest little kid ever. This is the best smile anyone could get out of him even with a ton of bribing! I absolutely love this little family and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful older sister to look up to and be a great example of what a mom should be-I love you!!
