Girl's night out

Over the last little bit I have been able to go out with a group of girls and par-tay! The first time I went with my friend Kaylee to a bunco night-so much fun!! Next we had a bowling night and then went to ice cream. Then Kaylee, Ashley and I went and saw the play Annie (Bryke didn’t come that time and I was a little stressed. It was the longest I had left him-but he did great!) It has been so nice to get to know and hang out with the girls. I love my hubby to death but having good girlfriends is a must and I have been so lucky to find some of the very best.

Happy Father's Day!

For Father’s day we headed down to Raft River. On Saturday Ter, Casey, Brett, Jordan and Kenny went up to Sublett and went fishing and then came home and fixed the roof. It was so fun to have all the cousins together! Kendall and David are getting so big!

Happy Father’s day to all the wonderful fathers in our life! Especially to Bryke’s papa-you are the very best!

The Petting Zoo

Yesterday Breawna, Quinnlee and me and the little B man went to the petting zoo. Bryke is still too little to really care but it was fun to just get out of the house. I can’t wait until he is old enough to be into the animals and know what’s going on. I think I wanted to blog about this just so I could put this picture up. I think that furry little face needs to come and be our pet!

3 lives down only 6 left

There’s the saying that cats have 9 lives and in our family that saying applies to wedding rings too.

Life #1 We were living in Rexburg and Ter had a flag football game and had put his ring in his shoe during the game. He got home and realized he didn’t have it so we went back and tried to find it. We were just about to give up when a girl looked down and said here it is!

Life # 2 A few months ago Terry came home with a {little boy look that says I just broke a window face} but it was really a honey I lost my wedding ring {again} face. He lost it somewhere while he was working around the apartments and looked everywhere to find it. I was a little worried cause my man is a stud-muffin and I didn't want those stinkin' ISU ladies hitting on him! Well a few weeks later he came home with a different look-one that said a baby miracle happened and our friend Nick, the apartment manager, sister-in-law found my ring in the parking lot and gave it to Nick who gave it back to me! What a lucky duck!

Life # 3 Last week I had a slow pitch softball game and Bryke and Ter came to watch. I gave Ter my ring to hang on to. When we were almost home I asked Ter for my ring and he got a funny look and said it’s in the cup holder of the stroller {which was folded up in the trunk}. I scrambled out of the car hoping it was there but after tearing the car, all our stuff and the diaper bag apart we couldn’t find it. We went inside and said a prayer and then Ter went back to the park to see if he could find it. Right when he got there it started pouring! So it was dark, pouring rain and a gravel parking lot-not a good combo to try and find my sparkler. BUT…he did!!

We either need to stop playing sports or super glue our rings to our fingers!

4 Months

The little Mr. is 4 months old now! This month he:

·        weighs 15 lbs 6 oz {52 %} and is 26 inches tall {90%}
·        such a happy little man
·        is super close to sitting up on his own
·        loves being outside and go on walks in his stroller
·        {still} drools like c.r.a.z.y. I thought he had a tooth coming in but I guess he is just a slobbery little guy
·        is very interested in what we are doing, especially when we eat
·        has crocodile skin on his back but we got some prescription stuff so hopefully he’ll be back to baby soft again soon
·        loves bath time-we can’t wait for the weather to decide to stay warm so we can go swimming!
·        loves his jumparoo! We can sit him in it and he’ll watch his whole baby Einstein movie. This is a big deal because the little stinker absolutely loves to be held so this lets me get a few things done during the day.
·        when he gets excited he stretches his arms out as wide as he can

We love you baby B-more and more every day!

sorry its a little dark

Memorial Day Weekend

We had big plans for Memorial Day weekend but they got a little sidelined when we saw SNOW was in the forecast!! We were going to go camping with Nicole and Jordan but we made a plan B and headed to Raft River. I think we decided that if we weren’t going to go somewhere new we were at least going to eat great! We had an awesome steak dinner on Friday and then woke up on Saturday and had a big breakfast-love breakfast food! Then we packed up the cars and headed to the City of Rocks. We rode with Ter’s parents and it was so fun to hear his Dad tell us all about the little towns along the way. We climbed Bath Rock while Bryke stayed with grandma and grandpa-such a beautiful view from the top! We left just ahead of a blizzard-crazy Idaho! We made it home and played some intense rounds of Wackie Six. I absolutely love my in-laws-Plan B turned out to be a great weekend!

2 long weeks

Daddy teachin' Bryke all about being an OT
Ter finished up his field work in Idaho Falls and I am so glad! Bryker and I took off to Filer for the first week and had a ball (well except for the root canal part of the trip) hanging out with my family. Bryker got spoiled and I enjoyed some great mama and sister time. Week 2 found me and the baby boy at home by ourselves! It was the first time I've ever spent the night by myself with Ter gone, usually I go home. But we survived with a whole lot of missing daddy! We went to Idaho Falls on Wednesday night and spent the night with Ter at Aunt Doris and Uncle Reeve's house. We are so grateful for them for letting Ter stay with them. It was so nice that he didn't have to drive home every night. So he has one field work done and 3 more to go. We are so so proud of him for all of his hard work. He is going to make the best OT ever!

Happy Birthday!!

26 years ago today this guy was born and oh boy are me and the little B man glad!! Thanks for being the best husband and father that we could ever ask for! We love you to the moon and back!
