Drive to the Mountains

Look at that little cheeser face!

We went on a family date up Scout mountain to see all the pretty colors and had a great time. We stopped and got some snacks and crossed our fingers that our favorite spot was open and got lucky! After snacking we did a little bit of exploring and ended up down by the water where Bryke was in heaven since he got to throw rocks til his little heart was content. The trek back up to the car just about killed us but we made it! I love to be outside in the mountains with my handsome boys!

He could do this all day!

Neighbors

We have the cutest little neighbor kids that have been so great to play with Bryke all summer long. Their names are Afa and Courtney. Bryker thinks Afa is the coolest kid around and loves to do everything he does and he loves to throw dirt at Courtney (we’re working on that one). A 19 month old can’t be that great to play with for a 6 and 7 year old but they have been awesome!

Fair time!

On Labor Day we headed to the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot. We had a great time checking out all the animals, eating lots of yummy food and riding all tractors. All the walking and the heat just about killed this pregnant lady but getting to spend the day with my boys made it totally worth it! Love this time of year!

Things to remember for future fair visits:

 -don’t go on a holiday

-don’t go during nap time so the little man can have a better time

-go later in the evening so we don’t get cooked

-don’t go 6 ½ months pregnant

-decide what I want to eat beforehand all those choices stress me out! Better yet forget the food and just eat the treats :)
